Operating a dedicated dry and bulk cargo fleet of 17 ships with tonnage from 6,500 DWT to 56,472 DWT (Supramax). This is ESL’s core fleet consisting of 4 Supramax sized ships, 5 Handysize ships… mostly built in Japanese shipyards and operating worldwide. In order to optimize shipping capacity and enhance competitiveness in the market, strategy of investment, development and restructuring of bulk carriers towards synchronization, modernization and rejuvenation, increase in size and eliminating ships that are no longer suitable for the market is always given special importance by the Company.
We focus on these factors: reliability, flexibility and long-term relationships. The fleet carries all kinds of bulk cargoes including sugar, wheat, cement, clinker, agricultural products, sulfur… as well as all kinds of bales. With the development of the energy and iron and steel sectors, most of the bulk carrier fleet is engaged in transporting coal and iron ore.
